A substantial handmade end grain chopping board, crafted from a striking combination of Sapele and Walnut. The contrast between the warm reddish tones of Sapele and the deeper Walnut creates a distinctive chequered pattern, making every board unique.
The end grain construction isn't just about appearance. The upright wood fibres are more forgiving on knife edges than conventional face-grain boards, while the substantial 48mm thickness provides a solid and stable cutting surface for everyday food preparation.

Care
Hand wash with warm water and a damp cloth, then dry thoroughly. Do not soak or place in a dishwasher.
Occasional reapplication of chopping board conditioner will help protect the timber and maintain its rich natural colour and finish.
