Handcrafted from rich walnut and contrasting pale maple, this stunning end grain chopping board features an intricate basket weave pattern that creates a striking geometric design. The deep, warm tones of the walnut complement the lighter maple, making each individual section of the board stand out.
Carefully constructed using an end grain design, the board provides a durable and practical cutting surface. End grain boards are particularly well suited to everyday chopping and food preparation, as the wood fibres allow knife blades to pass between them, helping to reduce wear on both the board and your knives.
At an impressive 45mm thick, this substantial board offers a sturdy cutting surface while also making an attractive centrepiece for any kitchen.
The board has been carefully sanded to a smooth finish and treated with our food-safe board conditioner, made from mineral oil and beeswax. This nourishes and protects the wood while enhancing its beautiful natural grain and rich colours.
Four rubber feet are fitted underneath to provide stability, prevent slipping during use and raise the board slightly above the worktop.

Care Instructions
To maintain the board's appearance and longevity, hand wash with warm water and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Never soak or place in a dishwasher.
Occasionally reapply a food-safe board conditioner to keep the wood nourished and protected.
